Playground Soccer
This program was designed by child development and soccer experts to give your child a foundation for sports success. Your player will hop, skip, jump, run, throw, balance, kick… and play.
Playground is a unique program designed to develop children by focusing on improving a child’s Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS) in a fun, parent participatory atmosphere utilizing age appropriate activities and storybook adventures. It is a 6-week Soccer based skills Development Program for players age 3-4 who would like to have fun in a soccer environment.

- This is NOT a mini World Cup experience. Don’t expect 60 minutes of soccer games. This program is heavy on motor skills development and light on competitive soccer. Let your little one learn the beautiful game the right way.

These are the essence of AYSO and it all starts with Everyone Plays.
Here in AYSO, Everyone Plays means that no kid spends their soccer experience sitting on the bench. Every kids plays at least half of every game. See below to learn more about AYSO's Six Philosophies.
Also, teams are put together in a way that makes playing soccer about the experience, not wins or losses. It's not about blowing out another team with an unbelievable score; it's about sportsmanship and learning to be the best possible team mate and opponent. Developing players is what we're about, because soccer skills and life skills go hand in hand. AYSO's main purpose is to get kids on the field, provide them with good coaches, and teach them to play soccer.
